My Grand Daughters
My two grand daughters are fifth generation dulcimer players, carrying on the family tradition of plucking the dulcimer (or as I prefer to call it, "stroking"). They were still quite young when these photos were taken, but liked to play, and were always keen to take a dulce to school to show their teachers and friends what they'd learned. They are quite grown up now, but still play now and again.Although they are fifth generation there was a one generation gap. Unfortunately my own two daughters never showed any interest in playing. I think they were tired of hearing the dulcimer.
